Girder Records Wholesale Program
Wholesale Overview
Girder Records offers wholesale purchasing to qualified retailers, record stores, online sellers, and approved resellers. Our catalog focuses on curated, limited-run CD and vinyl releases, many of which are exclusive to Girder Music and produced in small quantities for collectors.
Wholesale availability is subject to approval and inventory constraints, and not all retail titles are guaranteed wholesale access.
Wholesale Account Approval
All wholesale accounts must be reviewed and approved before ordering.
Approval confirms that your business is set up in our system and eligible to purchase at wholesale pricing. Wholesale ordering is not processed through our standard online checkout and is handled separately to ensure accuracy, availability, and proper invoicing.
How Wholesale Ordering Works
Wholesale orders are placed using an official Girder Records wholesale order sheet, which is provided after approval.
Once approved:
-
You will receive instructions for submitting wholesale orders
-
Quantities are submitted via the designated column on the order sheet
-
Completed order sheets are returned to us for review and confirmation
This process allows us to verify inventory, confirm allocations, and avoid errors—especially on limited or collector-grade releases.
Minimum Order Requirements
-
First wholesale order minimum: $600
-
Orders below the minimum cannot be processed
-
Future reorder minimums may apply depending on account activity and availability
Pricing, Invoicing & Payment
-
All wholesale orders are invoice-based
-
Once your order is reviewed and finalized, an invoice will be issued
-
Payment is required in full before shipment
-
Orders are not shipped until the invoice is paid
-
Net terms are not offered unless explicitly approved in advance
Wholesale Documentation & Tax Requirements
To comply with U.S. tax and business regulations, the following documentation is required for all wholesale accounts:
-
W-9 Form (U.S. Based Accounts)
All U.S.-based wholesale customers are required to provide a completed W-9. This information is kept on file for accounting and tax reporting purposes. -
Resale Certificate (North Carolina Accounts)
Wholesale customers located in North Carolina must provide a valid resale certificate in order to be exempt from sales tax.
If a resale certificate is not provided, North Carolina sales tax will be applied as required by law.
Wholesale orders cannot be finalized or processed until required documentation is received and approved.
